I think all of you should see this movie! Despite the fact that it has Hilary Swank in it. Its just that good.
The Story: A working mother puts herself through law school in an effort to represent her brother, who has been wrongfully convicted of murder and has exhausted his chances to appeal his conviction through public defenders. From IMDB.com
I don't understand why this one wasn't a hit at the awards circut. Its one of the most moving drama's that I have seen in years. They story, cast, and setting are all perfect.
Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell are flat out memsmorizing as this brother and sister duo. They beautifully display the strength of Betty Ann and Kenny's bond. But Rockwell's performance is breath-taking. This movie is a true testiment to his talent.
Above all, Conviction is a simple story (that anyone can relate to) told very openly and honestly.
